    WELCOME


    Our Purpose:

    The Black Rock Community Council, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt association of individuals, organizations, institutions and businesses, working together to improve the quality of life in the section of Bridgeport, Connecticut know as Black Rock, which generally is defined as Bridgeport Census Tracts 701 and 702 and includes the area bounded by the railroad tracks, Burr Creek, Black Rock Harbor, Ash Creek, and the Rooster River.  The Council shall concern itself with community education, planning, development, conservation, celebration, public safety, historical preservation, charitable initiatives and any other areas consistent with the purpose of the organization.

    Founded in 1976, the BRCC is the oldest and largest community membership organization in the area.

    As a BRCC Community Member, you’ll be helping to contribute to our special way of life. We reinvest your membership fee into the community through a variety of events and programs. You can also be as active as you like in our council, volunteers for events or committees are always welcome.
